NEW DELHI: Two young men have been arrested by the Crime Branch of the Delhi police for alleged involvement in several cases of auto-theft. Acting on a tip-off, the police laid a trap near Milliennium Park at Sarai Kale Khan and arrested Mohit (18) and Jaswinder (20). Both are school dropouts with no regular source of income. They therefore used to steal cars using duplicate keys and change the number plates, the police said. Three stolen cars have allegedly been recovered at their instance. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
