Preference in recruitment sought

Members of the Insurance Corporation Employees’ Union, Madurai Division, staged an agitation here on Saturday demanding that contract personnel be given preference in recruitment in the Life Insurance Corporation of India and made permanent. Hundreds gathered in front of the LIC Divisional Office at Sellur and raised slogans.
