Depression weakens

The cyclonic storm over southwest and adjoining West Bengal Bay has weakened into a deep depression and lay centred on Saturday evening at about 150 km east of Nellore. It is likely to move in a west north-westerly direction and cross Andhra coast between Nellore and Bapatla by early hours of Sunday. However, rains with squally winds are forecast.
