BANGALORE: The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Bangalore Kendra has taken up Mahatma Gandhi Kruti Sanchaya (MGKS), a project of publishing in Kannada the collected works of Mahatma Gandhi which runs into 100 volumes. On Sunday, the 11th, 12th and 13th volumes were offered to the public at the inauguration of Bhavanotsav 2008, the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s annual cultural festival. Urban Development Minister S. Suresh Kumar, who was the chief guest, said the Government would consider funding the project till all 100 volumes were translated. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
