AIADMK plans demonstration in Karur

CHENNAI: The AIADMK will organise a demonstration on November 18 in Karur district to condemn Union Minister of Shipping and Road Transport T.R. Baalu for his failure to complete the railway flyover in Lalapet.

In a statement here, party general secretary Jayalalithaa said the delay in completing the work had caused enormous difficulties to the people. “Whenever the railway gate is closed the traffic comes to a standstill,” she alleged.
