Veda parayanam at Sringeri mutt

Tiruchi: A 48-day ‘Krithika mandala Yajur Veda parayanam’ commenced at the Sringeri Sankara Mutt in Srirangam on Sunday.

According to the Dharmadhikari of the Mutt, S. Ramanarasu, the ‘parayanam’ would be recited for an hour from 7.30 p.m.

The Principal of the Veda Patasala Suryanarayanan and the chief priest of the temple, Ravichandra Bhat, along with the students of the Patasala, will render the parayanam.

108-Sankabhishekam

The 108-Sankabhishekam with Rudhram will be performed on Mondays in the Tamil month of Karthigai for an hour from 5 p.m.
