Dhoni’s reply to Hayden’s charges

Indore: Mathew Hayden’s remark over problems with “third world countries” and sight-screens affecting Australia’s over-rates in the recently concluded Test series in India, evoked a rebuttal from M.S. Dhoni.

“They have played all over the world and their over-rates have been slow everywhere,” the Indian skipper said here on Sunday when asked about the Australian opener’s remarks.

It may be recalled that Hayden had recently been quoted as saying: “Often, we find ourselves with hands on hips waiting for someone to either face up or someone at the sight-board to move away, all the little frustrations that happen in third world countries, and the heat as well.” — Special Correspondent
