CHITTOOR: National Filaria Prevention Day will be observed in the district on November 21, according to District Medical & Health Officer Sriramulu.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, he urged people to take DEC tablets according to their age, besides one albandezole tablet. Children below two years, pregnants and unhealthy persons should not take the tablets. About 90 lakh DEC and albandezol tablets would be supplied to all PHCs and municipalities for distribution.
