Lorry owner escapes from kidnappers

KRISHNAGIRI: A lorry owner escaped from the kidnappers and complained against the driver and his three associates to the police.

It is alleged that Kumar, a lorry owner residing in Krishnagiri, did not pay the salary to his driver for some months. The driver along with his associates kidnapped Kumar in a car and took him to a remote area and tortured him to pay the amount. Kumar, who escaped from the gang, complained to the Krishnagiri Taluk Police, who arrested the driver and his associate. Two other gang members are at large. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
