Students excel in competitions

Kakinada: Students of V.S. Lakshmi Women’s Degree and P.G. College, Kakinada, excelled in various competitions conducted by Ramakrishna Mission, Rajahmundry, recently. B.Sc (Biotechnology) first year student K. Sameera won the first prize in English essay-writing and another first year student (human genetics) P. Bhuvana won the third prize. B.Sc (Biotechnology) second year student P. Rajya Lakshmi won the third prize in Telugu essay- writing. While congratulating them, principal V. Sandhya suggested that students should take active part in such competitive events to hone their extra-curricular skills.
