Mandal surveyor arrested

HYDERABAD: Officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday arrested Yadagani Venkata Ramana, Mandal Surveyor in the office of Tahsildhar, Jangareddygudem, West Godavari district, when he accepted Rs.1,500 as bribe from the complainant. A press release issued by ACB here said Ramana had demanded the amount for conducting a survey of the complainant’s agricultural land. –Special Correspondent
