CHENNAI: Forty workers, who had opted for the Modified Voluntary Retirement Scheme offered by the National Textile Corporation, have been paid their dues, the Chairman and Managing Director of the Corporation stated in a press release on Monday. When Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram visited Sivaganga district on October 25, unions of the Corporation had requested him to look into the issue.
