Bangalore in final

MANGALORE: Bangalore District team entered the final of the State-level inter-district football tournament organised by the Dakshina Kannada Foodball Association here on Monday, defeating Kolar 3-2. Bangalore led 2-0 at half time.

It will clash with Dakshina Kannada District team on Tuesday which entered the final defeating Mysore District in an earlier match.

The results: Bangalore District 3 (B. Naveen Babu, M. Karthik, K. Kiran) bt Kolar 2 (Kannan, Sonaz ); Dakshina Kannada 3 bt Mysore 1 (tie-breaker). — Special Correspondent
