Dakshin Kannada girls win title

DHARWAD: Dakshin Kannada district girls won the State-level Pre-university colleges’ kabaddi championship by defeating Mandya 46-17 in the final played at RN Shetty Stadium here on Sunday evening.

Earlier in a keenly contested semifinal match Dakshin Kannada defeated Belgaum 34-33. In the other semifinal Mandya defeated Bangalore South 47-12. Thirty teams from all the districts of Karnataka participated.
