Delhi restricts Mumbai

Chennai: Mumbai collapsed dramatically from 295 for two to 330 all out against holder Delhi on the second day of an important Ranji Trophy Super League match at the Feroze Shah Kotla ground on Monday.

Pacemen Sumit Narwal (four for 43) and Parvinder Awana (three for 77) struck hard for Delhi after Ajinkya Rahane (160) and Amol Mazumdar (83) provided Mumbai a solid platform.

Delhi was 176 for four in reply, with Mithun Manhas (72 batting) and R. Bhatia (45 batting) at the crease.

Nilesh comes good

At Ahmedabad, opener Nilesh Modi notched up 250 for Gujarat against Hyderabad.

The host declared at 520 for nine.
