St. Thomas in final

ANGAMALI: Don Bosco HSS (Irinjalakuda) will meet St. Thomas HSS (Kozhencherry) in the boys’ final of the seventh Viswajyothi all-Kerala inter-school basketball tournament. In the girls’ section, Govt. Municipal HSS (Thallassery) will take on GVHSS (Kannur) in the final.

The results: Semifinals:

Boys: St. Thomas HSS, Kozhencherry, 38 (Jomon Jose 13) bt St Joseph HSS Thiruvananthapuram 23.

Don Bosco HSS, Irinjalakuda 56 (Shebin Shamsudeen 19, Amit Sebastian 16) bt St Ephreme’s HSS, Mannanam 37 (Chintu Varghese 13,Cyril James10).

Girls: GVHSS, Kannur 33 bt Kristhu Jyothi HSS, Chettipuzha 22 (Rosy P. Joseph 10); Govt. Municipal GHSS, Thallasserry 57 (P.R. Surya 23, P.S. Neenumol 16, Sonia Joy 14) bt Mount Carmel HSS, Kottayam 59 (Anila Augustine 18, Jain Marcella 10).
