Adithyan, Antony bat well

Chennai: M. Adithyan and Michael Antony scored half centuries for City XI in its second innings against Combined Districts on the third day of the under-14 match between the two sides at Hosur on Monday.

Resuming on 144 for four, City declared at 227 for seven, leaving Combined Districts a target of 178. The match ended with Districts on 94 for one.

City 129 and 227 for seven decl. (M. Adithyan 55, Michael Antony 54, M.S. Suraj 44, Vedh Puri 29, Adithya Balaji three for 22) drew with Combined Districts 179 and 94 for one in 46 overs (Harish Babu 42 not out).
