Talks on to postpone start of first Test

Indore: Discreet talks are on between the Board of Control for Cricket in India and the England and Wales Cricket Board to explore the possibility of postponing the start of the first Test between India and England at Ahmedabad by a day.

The first Test is scheduled to commence on December 11 and the Champions Twenty20 League final will be held at Chennai on December 10. In case Chennai Super Kings qualifies for the final it does negate the chances of M.S. Dhoni from turning out in the summit clash— Principal Correspondent
