Tirupur: The revenue administration will conduct special campaigns in Tirupur North, Avinashi, Sulur and Palldam Assembly constituencies on November 23 and 30 to help the eligible persons to enroll their names into the final photo electoral rolls to be published in January.

This was disclosed by Revenue Divisional Officer P. Murugesh here on Monday, after releasing the draft photo electoral rolls arising out of delimitation for Tirupur North, Avinashi, Palladam and Sulur Assembly Constituencies.

Mr Murugesh told reporters that according to the draft photo electoral rolls, there were 1,72,557 electors in Avinashi, 1,65,185 ( in Tirupur North, 1,89,471 ) in Palladam and 1,82,786 in Sulur Assembly segments.

The persons whose names were not figured in the draft photo electoral rolls should enroll their names in Form 6 before December 2. The Form 6 should be used for both fresh inclusions and for shift of residence from one Assembly constituency to another. Likewise, electors should use Form 8 to make corrections in the elector’s data figured in the draft photo electoral rolls. For transposition of entries within an Assembly Constituency, the Form 8 A should be used. The Form 7 could be used for deletion of names in the rolls. The filing of claims and objections should be made at the 166 polling stations situated within Tirupur North, 175 in Avinashi, 181 in Palladam and 178 in Sulur Assembly segments before the deadline.
