Water supply likely to be hit in Saidapet

CHENNAI: Chennai Metrowater proposes to take up interconnection work of the shifted water main in the stretch near Railway Gate on Jones Road and near 49, East Jones Road, Saidapet, to facilitate construction of a road under bridge at Jones Road railway level crossing. The two-day work would begin on Wednesday.

As a result, water supply on Wednesday and Thursday in wards 132 to 136 in Saidapet and West Saidapet, will be affected, a release said.
