Hindu group asks FBI to probe killing of students

NEW YORK: Expressing concern over the killing of Indian students and professionals in the U.S., a Hindu group here has approached the top American intelligence agency, asking it to take steps to prevent such incidents.

In a letter to Federal Bureau of Investigation, the United States Hindu Alliance said it was “alarmed” by the growing number of killings, pointing out that there have been as many as five reported murders of Indian students and professionals in the past one year. – PTI
