Forts are not for ever

Changing roles: The Angengo Fort near Varkala, a security structure built around an English trade settlement in the 17th century, is turning into a tourism destination these days. Scores of tourists come daily to the sylvan settings of the village bearing the name of the fort. This view is from atop a nearby light house. –
