“Sustaining IIT brand”

NEW DELHI: A number of former IIT students will take part in a panel discussion on “IIT brand and measures to sustain it” at the IIT Delhi campus this coming Saturday.

“The panel discussion is being organised jointly by the alumni of IIT Delhi and IIT Kharagpur to highlight the need to sustain the IIT brand worldwide in the wake of the recent global economic recession and recent decisions taken by the Indian Government, including opening of new IITs,” said IIT Kharagpur Alumni Association vice-president Y. P. S. Suri on Tuesday. “Recent moves by the Indian Government are excellent steps to widen the base of engineering excellence ,” he added.
