Second PUC examinations from March 13

Bangalore: The Department of Pre-University Education will conduct the second PUC examination from March 13 to 26.

The department earlier proposed to conduct it from March 16 to 26 and had invited objections.

According to a press release here on Monday, the March 2009 examinations will be conducted in two sessions – morning (9 a.m. to 12.15 p.m.) and afternoon (2 p.m. to 5.15 p.m.).

March 13: morning: Chemistry, Business Studies, Carnatic and Hindustani music.

March 14: morning: Sociology and Basic Mathematics

March 16: morning: Physics and Optional Kannada

March 17: morning: Kannada and Tamil; afternoon: Malayalam, Marathi, Arabic and French

March 18: morning: Economics and Geology

March 19: morning: Biology, Psychology and Education

March 20: morning: English

March 21: morning: Political Science and Statistics

March 23: morning: Mathematics and Geography

March 24: morning: Accountancy, Logic and Home Science

March 25: History, Electronics and Computer Science

March 26: morning: Hindi; afternoon: Telugu, Urdu and Sanskrit
