Kannur retains title

KANNUR: Kannur retained the title in the South-West Zone inter-university women’s volleyball championship here on Monday night.

The host finished with three wins in the semifinal league, while SRM (Chennai), which finished runner-up won two games.

The results (semifinal league): Kannur bt SRM 25-19, 25-17, 25-14; SRM bt Anna 25-22, 17-25, 25-23, 23-25, 15-13; SRM bt Madras 25-23, 20-25,25-17, 25-21; Kannur bt Anna 20-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-15.
