St. Thomas and GVHSS triumph

ANGAMALI: St. Thomas scored a 77-59 win over Don Bosco, Irinjalakuda, in the boys’ final and GVHSS, Kannur crushed Govt. Municipal GHSS, Thalassery, 65-24 to win the girl’s title in the Viswajyothi all-Kerala inter-school basketball tournament.

The results: Finals: Boys: St. Thomas HSS, Kozhencherry, 77 (Arun Alexander 27, Jomon Jose 12, Nithin Paul Stephen 13, Richard Baby 11) bt Don Bosco, Irinjalakuda 56 (Shebin Shamshudeen 21, Amit Sebastian 18). Girls: GVHSS, Kannur 65 (C. Tilna 21, Remya Mohan 14, K. Ranjusha 10) bt Govt. Municipal GHSS, Thalassery 24 (Sonia Joy 11).
