Rynold, Sandra triumph

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Rynold Timothy won the men’s singles title in the 65th Trivandrum Open tennis tournament at the TTC courts on Tuesday.

In the men’s final, Rynold had it easy against M. Binu Mani wining 6-1, 6-4. Sandra Sasidharan, who was making a comeback after a brief hiatus, easily won the women’s singles title. In the final, Sandra crushed Neha S. Nair 6-1, 6-0.

Under-16: Singles: Arun Raj bt H. Suraj 9-4.

Under-12: Singles: Revanth Kishore Kumar bt Madhav Narayan Kumar 9-3. Doubles: Varun Nair/Revanth Kishore Kumar bt Anirudh Jaindhan/Madhav Narayan Kumar 9-5
