Refinian Cup from today

KOCHI: The 22nd Refinian Cup inter-school cricket tournament begins at the BPCL Kochi Refinery Oval, Ambalamugal, on Wednesday.

The host Cochin Refineries School ‘A’ has been given the top billing while Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakara, is seeded No. 2 in the event. Eighteen teams will be seen in action in the knockout tournament which concludes on November 29.

P.G. Ganesh, Chief Manager (Project & Technical, BPCL Kochi Refinery) and a former Kerala Ranji player, will inaugurate the tournament. — Principal Correspondent
