MP triumphs

VIJAYAWADA: Madhya Pradesh scored a two-wicket victory over Delhi in the final of the all-India (u-19) women’s one-day cricket tournament that concluded at Rural Development Trust grounds at Anantapur, according to information reaching here on Tuesday.

The scores: Delhi 111 in 47 overs (Varsha Choudhary three for nine, Shakhi Raut three for 14) lost to Madhya Pradesh 112 for eight in 43.3 overs.
