Kozhikode: Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, head of the Ahamadiyya community, will reach Kozhikode on November 24 on a four-day visit to the city. This would be the first visit to the State by a spiritual head of the Ahamediyya community. The day after his arrival has been set aside for meetings with members of the community who are expected to reach the city from different places. His first public engagement would be on November 26 when he would address a State-level convention of Ahamadiyya women at Muthakalulam maidan. Mr. Masroor Ahmad would address a gathering of special invitees and host a dinner at Gateway (Taj) Hotel in the evening the next day. He would offer prayers at the Ahmadiyya Mosque, near Muthalakulam maidan, on Friday and leave for Kochi on November 28. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
