Indira Gandhi’s birth anniversary celebrated

PAYING HOMAGE: Chief Minister V. Vaithilingam garlanding the statue of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on the occasion of her birth anniversary, in Puducherry on Wednesday.

PUDUCHERRY: Chief Minister V. Vaithilingam and his Cabinet colleagues on Wednesday garlanded the statue of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 91st birth anniversary.

Mr. Vaithilingam administered the National Integration Day pledge to the Ministers and government officials.

The functionaries of the Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee and Puducherry Munnetra Congress organised separate functions to mark the birth anniversary.
