KRISHNAGIRI: A cheque for Rs. 50,000 was disbursed to the widow of an ex-servicemen, L. Duraisamy, who died during the Krishnagiri Assembly Election duty in the year 2006.

District Collector V.K. Shanmugam disbursed the cheque to Duraisamy’s wife, Sinammal, on Tuesday at the Collectorate.
