PALAKKAD: Southern Railway will run weekly winter special trains on the Nagercoil – Mangalore Central route to clear the passenger rush.

A Railways press release said that 0683 Nagercoil – Mangalore Central Express will start from Nagercoil at 1.30 p.m. on Sundays from November 23 to December 28 to reach Mangalore at 5.45 a.m. on the following day.

In the return direction, train no 0684 will start at 1.30 p.m. from Mangalore Central on Mondays from November 24 to December 29 to reach Nagercoil at 4.40 a.m. on the following day.

The special trains will have one AC two-tier, two AC three-tier, 12 sleeper class and three general coaches.
