Canara Bank raises NRE, FCNR rates

BANGALORE: Canara Bank has increased the interest rates on NRE and FCNR term deposits. The new rates for NRE (Rupee) deposits are: For one year to less than two years: 4.92 per cent, two years to less than three years: 4.41 per cent, and for three years: 4.89 per cent. For FCNR (B) deposits, the rates are: one year to less than two years: 4.17 per cent for U.S. dollars. — Special Correspondent
