Muthumani scalps five

Coimbatore: M. Muthumani picked five for 15 as Suburban Higher Secondary School defeated Keartiman HSS by nine wickets, to post its second straight win, in the CDCA inter-school non-age group cricket tournament for the Saravana Jewellers Trophy.

The scores: Keartiman HSS 81 in 20 overs (M. Muthumani five for 15) lost to Suburban HSS 82 for one in 12.3 overs (Viswanathan 38).

Jayendra Saraswathi MHSS 159 in 24.2 overs (Arun Balaji 47) bt Nehru Vidyalaya 93 in 19.4 overs.

Mani HSS 152 for seven in 25 overs (Bharath Chezhian 62 not out) bt Satchidananda Jothi Niketan (Kallar) 85 in 21.5 overs (Maheswaran four for 15).
