Natl. Games Secretariat formed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Government has decided to form a specific Secretariat for the smooth conduct of the 35th National Games to be held in the State during the first-half of May 2010. The decision was taken by the State Cabinet here on Wednesday.

The Sports Minister, M. Vijayakumar said the Secretariat will be registered soon. A team of officials under the leadership of the Chief Secretary, P.J. Thomas has been identified to complete the formalities in this regard. — Special Correspondent
