Mahindra holds Sporting Clube

MUMBAI: Sporting Clube de Goa remained on top of the 12-team ONGC I-League at the end of the ninth round, forcing a goalless draw with Mahindra United in an away game at the Cooperage on Wednesday.

The Goan side’s tally is 19, against nine for the Mumbai team for whom Senegal defender Lamine Tamba played his first game after injury.— Special Correspondent
