Moonlight posts win

NEW DELHI: Dalip Bhandari and Mahesh Bisht scored a goal each to help Moonlight Club to a 2-0 victory over Cosmos Club in a group ‘A’ match of the DSA ‘A’ division football league on Wednesday.

Moonlight has taken its tally to 16 points from six matches, and Cosmos has one point from five outings.

In another group ‘A’ encounter, Friends United beat Veterans Club 4-0. Sunil (twice), Aditya and Vikram Rana were the marksmen.

Friends United has nine points from five matches and Veterans completed its engagements with five points from seven maches.

In other matches, Paschim Heroes defeated Frontiers 2-0, thanks to the goals by Samdesh and Sagar while Uttarakhand Club beat Bangadarshan Club 2-1.
