Plea to upgrade pandits

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh United Teachers’ Federation has demanded upgradation of language pandits and physical education teachers working in 6,500 ‘Success schools’ as school assistants. I. Venkateswara Rao, president, and N. Narayana, general secretary, expressed anguish at the lack of clarity in GO 363 on upgradation of pandits and PETs.
