Rare lizard species found at SKU

ANANTAPUR: A rare species of lizard was found in the Zoology Department of Sri Krishnadevaraya University (SKU). Professors led by Radhakrishnaiah examined it after catching it alive and found it different from about 80 other known species across the world. They were yet to classify it but said it was very unique when compared with the known species. The body of the lizard is spotted and it has nails on its limbs. –Staff Reporter
