Pandey stars in Ajmal fightback

NEW DELHI: Vinayak Pandey shot home twice as Ajmal Club fought back to beat Friends United 3-2 in a Delhi Soccer Association ‘A’ division match here on Friday.

Sanil scored a brace to help Friends United take a 2-0 lead in the first half. But Ajmal staged a comeback through goals by Jitender and Pandey.

Meanwhile, Moonlight Club banked on Lalit Rawat’s goal to register a 1-0 victory over Youngsters Club.

In another match, Jaff struck a hat-trick to guide Cosmos Club to a 3-0 win over State Bank of India. — Sports Reporter
