Rs. 500 Tatkal fee will be collected from candidates Those who have passed in 2007, can go for improvement HYDERABAD: The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has announced Tatkal scheme for the students who could not pay the exam fee before the due date and those who are seeking attendance exemption (Arts courses only) as private candidates for IPE-2009 exams. The scheme will remain open from November 24 to December 15. Regular Intermediate students and those who have appeared for Advanced Supplementary in May and June 2008 and those who have passed Intermediate but want to change to Arts group are eligible. Intermediate pass certificate holders appearing for mathematics or second language as additional subjects under attendance exemption are also eligible. Candidates using this facility have to pay the Tatkal fee of Rs.500 apart from the regular examination fee. Those who have passed in 2007, can sit for improvement by paying fee through the scheme. The candidates who are seeking attendance exemption have to take a Demand Draft for Rs.500 in addition to the exam fee in favour of ‘The Secretary, Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad’ and have to submit it along with the application form of exemption and required certificates to the college principals concerned. Those who want sit for first year exam as private candidates should have at least one year gap after their SSC and those who want to sit for second year should have two years gap.
