VIJAYAWADA: Tamil Nadu scored a six-wicket victory over Goa in the South Zone senior women one-day cricket tournament at Anantapur.

The scores: Goa 151 for eight in 50 overs (Sunanda 70, Shika 40, Kokila three for 14) lost to Tamil Nadu 153 for four in 35.1 overs.

Kerala 105 in 46.4 overs (S. Asha 49) lost to Hyderabad 108 for three in 28.3 overs.

Karnataka 201 for seven in 50 overs (Sindhu Ashok 76) bt Andhra 134 in 46.4 overs (Sunitha Vasudevan four for 29). — Principal Correspondent
