Kerala girls take epee title

HYDERABAD: The Kerala team, comprising Apsara, Ambily and Dilana, won the girls’ epee team title in the junior National fencing championship here on Saturday.

The results: Girls: Epee: round robin league: Manipur bt U.P. 15-5; Maharashtra bt Assam 15-12; Tamil Nadu bt Chandigarh 15-8; Haryana bt H.P. 15-4; West Bengal bt Gujarat 15-12; Chhattisgarh bt A.P. 15-10; Punjab bt J & K 15-1; Kerala bt Manipur 15-12; Maharashtra bt TN 14-13; Kerala bt Maharashtra 14-13; Haryana bt West Bengal 15-11; Punjab bt Chhattisgarh 15-6; Punjab bt Haryana 15-8; Haryana bt Maharashtra 15-11; Kerala bt Punjab 15-11.
