Loans distributed

Loans were distributed to about 100 persons belonging to economically weaker sections at the inauguration of Indian Overseas Bank’s renovated Nungambakkam branch recently. The loan disbursement was made as part of a scheme to assist 5,000 people to facilitate economic upliftment. The beneficiaries were identified by a non-governmental organisation Development Promotion Group. The bank’s general manager Chennai Region I Subhash Chander participated.
