Stalin distributes free bus passes

CHENNAI: Local Administration Minister M.K. Stalin has distributed free bus passes to children with disability to attend special classes and visit rehabilitation centres.

A scheme to provide bus passes to children with disability and one of the parents who accompany them to the classes was announced in the budget of the Chennai Corporation.

Twenty-two children received the passes from Mr. Stalin at the Secretariat. Transport Minister K.N. Nehru, Chennai Mayor M. Subramanian, and Corporation Commissioner Rajesh Lakhani were present. — Special Correspondent
