Pat for Krishna

Vijayawada: The members of the Krishna District Chess Association on Sunday congratulated the 11-year-old city player G.V. Sai Krishna for winning the National under-13 boys’ title at the 22nd National chess championship which concluded at Vellore (Tamil Nadu) on Saturday.

The Guntur District Badminton Association will host the all-India junior major ranking tournament from January 4 to 8, 2009 at the NTR Stadium, the Andhra Pradesh Badminton Association Secretary, K.Ch. Punnaiah Choudary, said here on Sunday.
