Software engineer commits suicide

HYDERABAD: A. Swathi, a software engineer, committed suicide at her residence at Marutinagar in Amberpet on Sunday afternoon.

The incident came to light after the 22-year-old failed to respond when family members repeatedly knocked the door.

Sensing something suspicious, they broke open the door only to find her body hanging from the ceiling fan.

A suicide note purportedly written by Swathi was also recovered from her possession in which she stated that no one was responsible for her death and she was ending her life due to “personal reasons”. She was working as a software engineer in a multi-national company at Madhapur.
