Recitation competition

NEW DELHI: Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam Satsangam at R.K. Puram is conducting Vishnu Sahasranama recitation competition for school children on November 30 at Devi Kamakshi Mandir on Aruna Asif Ali Road.

Children studying in schools other than DTEA/Andhra schools can participate in the competition for which the syllabus is as follows. Group I (Kindergarten Classes -- age below 5 years --10 slokas starting from Viswam Vishnu.; Gr. II (Classes I and II) -- slokas 1 to 25; Gr. II (Classes III to V) -- slokas 1 to 50; Gr. IV (Classes VI to VIII)-- slokas 1 to 100; Gr. V (Classes IX & X) -- full text; Gr. VI (XI & XII) full text and meanings will be asked.
