KRISHNAGIRI: Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Makkal Nala Paniyalar in 12 panchayats in five unions will be filled.

Following are the panchayats where the posts are vacant:

Veppanapalli Union – Chinnamanavaranapalli, Santhamalai and Theertham; Mathur Union – Veeratchikuppam; Sulagiri Union – Enusonai, Sanamavu, Thuppuganapalli, Nerigam, Theagarasanapalli and Kamanthotti; Kelemangalam Union – Nagamangalam and Hosur Union – Begepalli.

According to a release issued by Collector V.K. Shanmugam here on Monday, the candidates should have passed SSLC (a pass in Standard VIII for tribes and Scheduled Tribes) and aged between 18 and 30.

They should belong to and live in the panchayat where they opt for the job.

Honorarium

A monthly honorarium of Rs. 950 plus Rs. 50 as Travelling Allowance will be given to them.

Filled in applications should be submitted to the respective Block Development Officers on or before November 27 before 5 p.m.
